From Landscape to Garden

How can we create a stronger relationship between the unique meadows of the Aubrac plateau and it's urban parks and gardens? Together with my colleague Titiane Haton, we explored this question through a residency and a landscape design project in Saint-Chély d'Apcher. 'From Landscape to Garden' brings together local partners— the municipality, a community garden, students, the Aubrac Botanical Garden, the PNR Aubrac— creating gardens that reflect the typical Aubrac prairies. Our approach: researching and creating gardens that nourish both body and community, rooted in local heritage and sustainable practices.

Comment créer un lien plus fort entre les prairies uniques du plateau de l’Aubrac et les parcs et jardins urbains ? Avec ma collègue Titiane Haton, nous avons exploré cette question à travers une résidence de territoire avec le PNR Aubrac et un projet de conception à Saint-Chély d’Apcher. « Du paysage au jardin » de l'Atelier Za'atar rassemble plusieurs partenaires locaux — la municipalité, un jardin partagé, des élèves, le Jardin botanique de l’Aubrac et le PNR Aubrac — pour créer des jardins qui s’inspirent des prairies typiques de l’Aubrac. Notre approche : rechercher et concevoir des jardins qui nourrissent à la fois le corps et la communauté, ancrés dans le patrimoine local et des pratiques durables.
