Research stay at the University of Michigan

In 2023, I joined Professor Joan Nassauer and her team in the Landscape Ecology, Perception and Design Lab at the School for Environment and Sustainability at the University of Michigan near Detroit. During my month-long stay, we worked on an iteration for a design project set in East Cleveland and Cleveland, Ohio. Together with PhD student Isabella Shehab, I took several field trips to study prairie plant communities and visit prairie-inspired gardens, such as the Lurie Garden in Chicago and other plantings by Roy Diblik.

En 2023, j'ai rejoint le professeur Joan Nassauer et son équipe au sein du laboratoire d'écologie, de perception et de conception du paysage de la School for Environment and Sustainability de l'université du Michigan. Pendant mon séjour d'un mois, nous avons travaillé sur une itération d'un projet de conception situé à East Cleveland et Cleveland, dans l'Ohio. Avec Isabella Shehab, doctorante au laboratoire, j'ai effectué plusieurs sorties sur le terrain pour étudier les communautés végétales des prairies et visiter des jardins inspirés des prairies, tels que le Lurie Garden à Chicago et d'autres plantations de Roy Diblik.
