Critical field study to Dunkirk

Co-organised with the Landscape Research Group, my colleague Titiane Haton and I curated a three day itinerary for this research trip. An international group of researchers, PhD students, and Professors came together and inquired into the unusual layers of Dunkirk's fabric. The trip provided opportunities to understand the sense of place of the town from the perspectives of local experts and inhabitants working in different sectors and resulted in a joint publication ("Le moche qui scotche", see in publications).

En collaboration avec le groupe de recherche sur le paysage, ma collègue Titiane Haton et moi-même avons élaboré un itinéraire de trois jours pour ce voyage de recherche. Un groupe international de chercheurs, d'étudiants en doctorat et de professeurs s'est réuni et s'est penché sur les enchevetrements inhabituelles de Dunkerque. Le voyage a permis de comprendre le sens du lieu de la ville du point de vue d'experts locaux et d'habitants travaillant dans différents secteurs et a donné lieu à une publication conjointe ("Le moche qui scotche", voir dans les publications).
